R. Brad Abernathy
Brad is a lifelong resident of Gainesville and Hall County. He and his wife, Jill, have two beautiful daughters, Sadie and Kate. Brad and his family live in downtown Gainesville and are members of First Baptist Church.
Brad is a graduate of Gainesville High School and of Georgia Tech. He earned his Bachelors degree in Management and a Certification in Real Estate Land Development from Georgia Tech’s College of Architecture. He is an Associate Broker and has worked in real estate for over 12 years. He serves buyers and sellers in residential, commercial, acreage, and investment real estate. He has also personally and through partnerships successfully developed and redeveloped several areas of Gainesville.
Brad is a past board member of the Gainesville Jaycees; is a graduate of the 1998 class of Leadership Hall County; has been profiled on the Gainesville Times List of 40 Under 40 Future Business Leaders of Gainesville and Hall County; is an Executive Board Member and two time Past President of Friends of Gainesville’s Parks and Greenways; is a past Board Member of Hall County Beautification Committee; has been named Volunteer of the Year by the Georgia Parks and Recreation Association; has been selected Jaycee of the Year by the Gainesville Jaycees; serves on the Interview Committee for Georgia Tech’s Presidential Scholarship Program; is an Active Life Member of the Hall County Board of Realtors Million Dollar Sales Club; has been recognized in the Top 5% of Realtors Nationwide for Sales Volume; and is a Phoenix Award Member of the Hall County Board of Realtors.
